In the first two novels of the Midnight Warrior Series, Parallel Attraction and Parallel Heat, the author created an alternate world complete with a cast of humans and aliens that captured the hearts and minds of paranormal romance readers. The third book, Parallel Seduction, returns to this universe and from the first page to the concluding paragraph immerses the reader's imagination in this fascinating world.

The Antousians' desire to destroy the Earth is thwarted by the United States military with the help of the Rafarians. However, a threat still exists and the world is still a dangerous place. Although many of the characters return to add dimension and interest to the story, this novel focuses on the love between Scott Dillon, an alien, and Hope Harper, an FBI linguist, as they search for true happiness.

In the course of the story the two are captured, imprisoned, and tortured before making their escape from the Antousian aliens. In the end, they have find “each other from across the universe, and no one-not a human or alien-will drive them apart, ever again.”

Knight's characters are well developed and engaging. The plot is complex with a lot of non- stop action and intrigue. It is a genuine sensual page-turner that you can't put down. There are some background references to the previous two books in the series so readers may want to read them in sequence to be appreciate.
